BIOS MWF offers accelerated remediation of metal working fluids (MWF). MWF waste is a particularly complex and difficult mix of hydrocarbons that typically take considerable time, effort, and money to clean.

The BIOS MWF system, on a laboratory bench level, can consume the hydrocarbons found in MWFs.

As a result, the system is expected to have the following benefits:

Produces effluent that meets regulatory standards.

Reduces operational costs.

Non-pathogenic / non-toxic to humans, animals, and aquatic wildlife.

We are presently researching the engineered systems needed to move from the lab to a large scale (2000-8000 gal/day) demonstration of this technology.
