BIOS GWPW offers remediation of hydrocarbon contaminants commonly found in gas well wastewater from natural gas production operations. Gas well produced water is a large potential source of water for mining areas that have limited water sources.

The BIOS GWPW system, on a laboratory bench level, can consume the hydrocarbons found in gas well produced water.

As a result, the system is expected to have the following benefits:

Produces effluent that meets regulatory standards.

Reduces operational costs.

Provides commercial-grade water.

Non-pathogenic / non-toxic to humans, animals, and aquatic wildlife.

This product has attracted the attention of several major gas drilling companies.

We are presently researching the engineered systems needed to move from the lab to a large scale (2000-8000 gal/day) demonstration of this technology.
